Summary:
The Regional Operations Director plays a pivotal role in driving high-quality operational leadership, client relations, and project management within the organization. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and collaborating with other Operations Directors and key members of the RANT management team, this individual will ensure smooth and efficient operations across the region.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate closely with the IT department to align technology with operational needs and initiatives.
- Support the recruitment, selection, and training of new employees within the Operations Division.
- Oversee staff development, performance reviews, and ensure the continuous growth of team members.
- Lead and manage key operations projects and initiatives as assigned by the COO or senior leadership.
- Oversee the daily administrative operations of non-radiologist clinical staff (PA, NP, and RN) in the region.
- Track and monitor key performance metrics at each hospital served by RA.
- Strive to ensure RA consistently meets or exceeds the defined health system performance metrics.
- Foster strong client relationships through regular meetings with administrative stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as best business practices.
- Assist with department budgeting and financial oversight.
- Serve as a liaison between Teleradiology radiologists, departmental staff, and RANT administration.
- Ensure that departmental and facility duties are handled promptly and effectively.
- Lead the investigation and resolution of customer service complaints to maintain high satisfaction.
- Ensure the security and integrity of departmental operations and facility measures.
- Mentor and guide staff, promoting job satisfaction and the highest standards of service.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of two years in a healthcare management role, with radiology management experience preferred.
- Skills/Knowledge: Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, with a focus on operational efficiency and team collaboration.
