Position Description:
The Cybersecurity Engineer will implement and monitor cybersecurity measures, conduct vulnerability assessments, and respond swiftly to security incidents. Working under the direction of our Cybersecurity Director, the Cybersecurity Engineer will contribute to the development and enforcement of security policies and will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of security tools and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect the organization's systems and data.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security risks.
- Install and maintain security software and hardware.
- Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents, including malware and phishing attacks.
- Collaborate with the Cybersecurity Director to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on security-related issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cybersecurity engineer or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and protocols.
- Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH) are a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
