Marketing Communications Specialist
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Communications Specialist to support day-to-day marketing initiatives. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications and works closely with the Marketing Communications Manager. Responsibilities include digital content creation, event and AV support, website and social media management, and assisting with public relations and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and executing events, including AV setup and support.
Create and publish digital content across social media, blogs, emails, and websites.
Maintain digital content calendars and ensure brand consistency.
Update website content using CMS tools and support SEO efforts.
Manage social media scheduling and community engagement.
Support photography/videography for events and marketing assets.
Assist with public relations, internal communications, and media outreach.
Help track performance metrics and compile marketing reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2–3 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), SEO, and social media.
Experience with AV equipment and video conferencing tools.
Basic photography/videography and editing skills.
Strong written communication and organizational skills.
